For property owners setting up new water service for the first time. This application starts the process of connecting your property to MDMWC service.
New Service ApplicationFor a change of ownership or sale. Transfers both water service and the appurtenant water stock to the new owner.
For property owners closing out or discontinuing water service.
Stop Service ApplicationProperty owners establish water service as part of the escrow and stock-transfer process. Tenants do not establish a separate account. At the property owner's request, a tenant may be added to the owner's account as a courtesy so they can receive billing information and make payments on the account. The property owner remains ultimately responsible for the account and all charges.
See Water Service Setup for the full owner and tenant application details.
Contractors and builders who need temporary, metered water service from a fire hydrant — for construction, dust control, or similar short-term use — can apply for a hydrant meter through our office.
Contact MDMWC to apply and to discuss the requirements for your project.
