Mutual Water Utility · Est. 1953

Clean water, drawn from the desert, delivered with care.

Since 1953, Myoma Dunes Mutual Water Company (MDMWC) has supplied Bermuda Dunes — and, since 2005, portions of La Quinta — with safe, reliable groundwater from the Coachella Valley aquifer, owned by the community it serves.

Who We Are

Myoma Dunes Mutual Water Company, owned by the community it serves.

Myoma Dunes Mutual Water Company (MDMWC) is a mutual water company — meaning the customers are the owners. There are no outside shareholders, only a shared responsibility to deliver clean water at a fair cost.

Our four company-owned wells draw from the Lower Whitewater River sub-basin of the Coachella Valley aquifer, one of the most carefully managed groundwater resources in Southern California. Every drop is tested against USEPA and California State Water Resources Control Board standards before it reaches your tap.
